Mohali: A fire broke out at the Public Works Department (PWD) office in Phase 2 Market, Mohali, on Tuesday morning, triggering panic in the surrounding area. Furniture and other items kept inside the office were damaged in the blaze.

Thick smoke and flames were seen emerging from the building, with the smoke reportedly visible from a considerable distance.

Fire Breaks Out at PWD Office

According to the information available so far, the fire broke out inside a showroom where the PWD office was operating. The flames quickly spread through the premises, engulfing furniture and other materials.
