RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat on Haryana Tour; To attend Nation-building Seminar at Kurukshetra University

Kurukshetra: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat is on a visit to Haryana. Dr. Bhagwat will participate in a seminar focused on nation-building and social change at Kurukshetra University on Saturday. Prior to this, he held a program with volunteers in Ambala yesterday.

These events are being held to mark the Sangh’s centenary year. On February 27th, he met with volunteers aged 15 to 40 in Ambala City and Ambala Cantonment. This was an indoor event, where the Sangh’s branch activities and ideas were discussed. The purpose of this event was to inspire young volunteers to become more active in social service.

Symposium in Kurukshetra today

A symposium is being held today from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta Auditorium in Kurukshetra. It will include Haryana academics, retired IAS and IPS officers, and judges. Approximately 500 people will participate. The main topics of this symposium are nation-building, social change, and the role of the Sangh.

Bhagwat had come to Kurukshetra before also

Dr. Mohan Bhagwat has visited Kurukshetra several times. On November 25, 2017, he attended a program for the beneficiaries of the Mother Tongue Satyagrahi Scheme. In the first phase of this scheme, 194 beneficiaries were identified, and Dr. Bhagwat discussed the details. Subsequently, on June 30, 2022, he inaugurated the statue of Lord Krishna in Jyotisar.
