Horrific Accident in Moradabad: Speeding Car Crashes into Tractor-Trolley, Four died

On the Lucknow-Delhi National Highway, a car traveling from the direction of Rampur crashed into a tractor-trolley. Four people lost their lives in the incident. They have been identified as residents of Nainital district.

On Monday morning, near Mankara Mor in the Mundhapande area, a speeding car rammed into a tractor-trolley laden with bricks that was moving ahead of it. The impact of the collision was so severe that the car was completely mangled.

After a strenuous effort, the police managed to extricate the people trapped inside the car. They were subsequently rushed to the Mundhapande Community Health Centre (CHC), where doctors pronounced four of the five young men traveling in the car dead.

One young man remains critically injured and has been referred to the District Hospital. CO (Highway) Rajesh Kumar stated that the victims of the accident were Dayal Rawat (resident of Vimila Compound, Paliwal, Nainital), Anil Negi (38), Sundar Saini (42), and Bhuvan Bhandari (37), all residents of Haldwani.

The driver, Yashdeep Pandey (a resident of Haldwani), is critically injured. The tractor driver fled the scene following the incident. The Police have lodged complaint in the matter and investigation has been initiated.
