More than 12,000 government recruitments in Rajasthan, exams to begin in March

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released its exam calendar for the year 2026. Recruitment exams for more than 12,000 posts will be held between March and July. Lakhs of candidates are expected to appear in these recruitments.

Exams for positions such as Deputy Commandant, Lecturer (AYUSH), Junior Chemist, and Assistant Electrical Inspector have been completed in January and February. Now the main focus is on the major recruitments scheduled between March and July. It is estimated that more than 1.5 million candidates will appear in these exams.

Major Recruitments from March to July

The Commission has announced the dates for several important examinations—

Assistant Engineer Combined Recruitment Main Examination: March 22-23, 2026
Sub Inspector/Platoon Commander (1015 posts): April 5-6, 2026
Veterinary Officer (1100 posts): April 19, 2026
Assistant Agricultural Engineer (281 posts): April 19, 2026
Professor (Agriculture) and Coach (3225 posts): May 31 to June 16, 2026
Senior Teacher (6500 posts): July 12 to 18, 2026

In addition, some examinations are also scheduled after July, such as Junior Law Officer (July 26-27) and Statistical Officer (August 30). Some dates have also been reserved as backup dates.

Special preparations for conducting the exam

Extensive arrangements are being made to conduct such a large number of exams.

* 500 to 800 additional exam centers will be set up
* 1500 videographers and CCTV cameras deployed
* Over 3000 teachers and staff on exam duty
* Over 3000 police personnel deployed for security
* Over 500 vehicles and other logistical resources available

These arrangements aim to ensure fair and transparent exams.
