    2. ED attaches properties worth Rs 51.57 crore in Ocean Seven Buildtech money laundering case

      The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday said it has attached movable and immovable properties valued at Rs 51.57 crore in a money laundering case of Ocean Seven Buildtech Pvt Ltd (OSBPL).

      ED said its headquarters unit in New Delhi attached the properties under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, following a detailed financial investigation which revealed “systematic misuse” of funds collected from a large number of homebuyers who had invested their savings in affordable housing projects.

    4. 2.89 crore voters deleted in UP draft electoral roll after SIR

      The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday released the draft electoral roll of Uttar Pradesh after completing the enumeration phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), resulting in the deletion of about 2.89 crore voters from the state list.

    7. 20 kg heroin seized in Punjab; four arrested

      In a major crackdown on trans-border smuggling, Punjab Police’s Anti-Narcotics Task Force (Border Range), in a joint operation with the Border Security Force (BSF), have recovered 20 kg heroin and apprehended four accused, including the key operative managing the supply chain, state Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said on Tuesday.

    10. ISL to start from Feb 14, all clubs will participate: Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya

      Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Tuesday said that the Indian Super League (ISL) will start from February 14.
