Morning and evening chills in Punjab and Chandigarh; Rain expected at isolated places

The daytime cold has almost subsided in Punjab and Chandigarh. People are experiencing some chill in the morning and evening. The maximum and minimum temperatures have risen above normal. Rain is now expected on February 17th.

In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature dropped slightly by 0.4 degrees. However, it is now 2.4 degrees above normal. Faridkot recorded a maximum temperature of 27.4 degrees.

Rain is expected on the 17th

According to the Meteorological Department, the second Western Disturbance will reach the mountains on February 17th. However, some activity will begin in the mountains on February 16th. The area may become cloudy. A cyclonic circulation will form here, and winds will blow over Pakistan and Rajasthan.

Maximum temperatures are expected to be between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius in the northern and eastern parts of the state, and between 24 and 28 degrees Celsius in the remaining areas.
