On Thursday night, three coaches of a goods train derailed in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, as confirmed by a railway official. The incident took place on the Delhi-Mumbai line while the train was en route from Rajkot, Gujarat, to Bakaniya, close to Bhopal.
Divisional Railway Manager Rajneesh Kumar stated, “Three coaches have derailed. One coach has been recovered, while the other two have minor issues but will also be dealt with shortly. We are gathering all relevant evidence and while some trains may experience delays, no services are being canceled.”
He also said that the investigation teams are currently looking into the cause of the derailment.
