Amidst the continuously increasing cases, the Karnataka government has issued a public advisory. In this, people have been asked to wear masks in crowded places, maintain physical distance and take special care of hygiene. It has been asked to get tested immediately if there is fever, cough, chest pain or difficulty in breathing. There are 238 active cases in the state.
COVID-19 has been confirmed in 2 people in Mizoram on Friday. Health department officials said that Covid cases were found 7 months after the last such case was reported in the state. The last case of COVID-19 in Mizoram was reported in October 2024, during which 73 people were infected with the virus in the state.
