Narayanpet (Telangana): At least nine individuals were injured when a private bus collided with a parked lorry on the National Highway near Bondalakunta, within the jurisdiction of Makthal police station. The accident happened around 5 a.m., and the injured passengers were quickly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to authorities, five of the injured suffered fractures, while four others complained of back pain following the collision. The Sub Inspector of Makthal police station stated, “The private bus hit a parked lorry on the National Highway near Bondalakunta around 5 am today. Five people sustained fractures, and four others experienced back pains. We have moved all to the hospital, and currently, nine individuals are injured.” He also mentioned that a case has not yet been registered.
In a separate incident on Wednesday, three people lost their lives, and three others were injured after a car collided with a bus near Mall village, located at the border of Nalgonda and Rangareddy districts. The collision occurred around 1 a.m. The Yacharam Police Station Inspector reported, “Three individuals died, and three were hurt in the collision between a car and a bus near Mall village.” The deceased have been sent for post-mortem, and the injured are receiving medical treatment. All victims involved in this crash were occupants of the car.
