New Delhi: A 37-year-old motorcycle rider, identified as Rashid Khan, tragically died after reportedly falling into a pothole in Delhi’s Tigri area. Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area to determine the exact cause of the accident. The victim’s helmet and motorcycle were found near the scene.

The incident occurred near Hamdard Hospital on MB Road in south Delhi. Rashid Khan, a resident of Sangam Vihar, was found lying on the footpath with a head injury after the police received a call on March 10 at the Tigri Police Station about an individual lying near a red light. His bike and helmet were located at the scene.

Rashid was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Center, where he was declared dead. Preliminary reports suggest that he may have fallen into a water-filled pothole, which could have contributed to the accident. The police are examining nearby CCTV footage to confirm the details.

A case has been filed under sections 281/186(1) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and the investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fatal accident. Further details are awaited.
