Srinagar, May 16: Six terrorists have been killed in two encounters in Jammu and Kashmir in the last three days. The army and police said in a joint press conference on Friday that the operation against terrorism is continuing in Kashmir. Terrorists were killed in two encounters in Tral and Shopian. One operation took place in high mountain areas, another operation took place in a village. Security forces carefully killed terrorists at both places.
The army said- the coordination between all the security forces was good, and this operation is proof of that. This coordination will remain in the future as well. We will wipe out terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir. We will also thank the people who, without their cooperation such success was not only difficult but impossible.
On the other hand, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited Bhuj Air Force Station in Gujarat. Addressing the soldiers, he said that 23 minutes were enough for the Indian Army in Operation Sindoor.
