Assembly elections in 5 states: EC announces date of polls, result out on Dec 3

New Delhi: The Election commission of India has announced the date of polls for assembly elections in 5 states namely Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Mizoram and Rajasthan. Polls in all states will be conducted in one phase except Chhattisgarh where elections will be held in two phases. The polls will be held in the month of November while the counting will be done on December 3.

Below mentioned are the dates of elections in 5 states

Madhya Pradesh  November 17

Chhattisgarh       November 7 and November 17 (elections in two phases)

Telangana           November 30

Mizoram            November 7

Rajasthan          November 23
