Pune (Maharashtra): Today, Bajaj Auto launched the world’s first CNG-powered motorbike in Pune. The Bajaj Freedom 125 is a hybrid model that runs on both petrol and CNG.
At the Bajaj Freedom 125 event, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, was also present.
While the CNG cars have been running on the road for the last 10 years. It is the first motorcycle with this technology. Bajaj became the first automobile company to develop this technology.

The price that has been set for this bike is Rs 95,000.
The managing director of Bajaj Auto said that this type of model will reduce carbon emissions by almost 50% and carbon monoxide by 75%. It also helps cut fuel costs, as the CNG average is cheaper than other fuels. As it is a hybrid model that will run on both petrol and CNG, a person can switch between CNG and petrol according to their needs.
