Farmers movement: BKU tractor march today, police deployed on the border, heavy traffic jam may occur

Barricading and security has been arranged with additional police force at all the borders on the call of Bharatiya Kisan Union

The police force has been alerted in the district and barricading has been arranged with additional police force at all the borders. On the call of United Kisan Morcha, Bharatiya Kisan Union will take out a tractor march in Gautam Buddha Nagar district on 26 February. In view of this, the police force in the district has been alerted and arrangements for barricading with additional police forces have been made at all the borders.

Traffic diversion has also been done as a precaution. According to the information received from the police, on 26th February, on the call of United Kisan Morcha, Bharatiya Kisan Union is proposed to march to Delhi on tractor march on Yamuna Expressway, Luharli Toll Plaza and Mahamaya Flyover and on advance orders.

During this program, barriers will be installed at all the borders from Gautam Buddha Nagar to Delhi border and checking will be done by Delhi Police and Gautam Buddha Nagar Police. Due to this, traffic will be diverted in case of increase in traffic pressure on Gautam Buddha Nagar to Delhi border routes and Yamuna Expressway, Luharli Toll Plaza etc.

Vehicles going from Chilla border to Delhi will be able to reach their destination via Sector 14A flyover via Golchakkar Chowk, Sector 15, Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk, Jhundpura Chowk. Vehicles going from DND border to Delhi will be able to reach their destination using the elevated via Filmcity flyover via Sector 18.

Vehicles going from Kalindi border to Delhi will be able to reach their destination via Mahamaya flyover via Sector 37. Traffic going to Delhi using Yamuna Expressway will be able to get down from Jewar Toll towards Khurj and reach the destination via Jahangirpur.

However, Bharatiya Kisan Union has issued a message that keeping in mind the security reasons, they will take out the tractor march under the expressway only. According to BKU, at 10 am the tractor march will be carried out in a peaceful and disciplined manner under the Yamuna Expressway from Bhole Bhaipar Mehndipur Police Station Rabupura to Fareda Cut.

Use metro to avoid getting stuck in traffic
The traffic police has informed that people going to Delhi should use the metro as much as possible to avoid traffic inconvenience. The arrival of all types of goods vehicles will be restricted on the route from Yamuna Expressway to Delhi via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and from Sirsa to Surajpur via Parichowk.
