New Delhi: In a major blow to IAS trainee Puja Khedkar, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has canceled her provisional candidature. The move by UPSC will bar her from taking all UPSC exams in the future. UPSC has found Puja guilty and therefore action has been taken against her.
Let us tell you that UPSC had already given indications of strict action against Puja. UPSC said that if the allegations leveled against Puja Khedkar are found to be true, then action will be taken against them. UPSC had also issued a show cause notice to Pooja Khedkar in this regard. The notice asked why Pooja Khedkar’s candidature for Civil Services Examination 2022 should not be canceled.
Puja Khedkar, a trainee IAS officer bagged an all-India rank of 821 in the UPSC examination 2022 is accused of misusing her authority. She is also accused of faking her identity to avail herself extra attempts beyond the permissible limit in the UPSC examination.
Controversial IAS Trainee Puja Khedkar
Let us tell you that Puja Khedkar was transferred from Pune to Washim. She was appointed as Additional Assistant Collector. After this, District Magistrate Suhas Divas informed the senior officers about Khedkar’s conduct. Puja Khedkar was accused of demanding facilities as a trainee IAS officer to which she was not entitled. Apart from this, she is also accused of occupying the chamber of a senior officer. Khedkar is also accused of misusing her position. It is told that Pooja Khedkar got a red light and ‘Maharashtra Government’ plate installed in her personal Audi car. Pooja Khedkar was seen roaming the streets of Washim in this private car.
