New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party MP Brijmohan Agarawal on Thursday said that under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and guidance of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said, the campaign to end Naxalism in Chhattisgarh was moving in the direction of success.

Speaking with the media Brijmohan Agarawal said,  “Under the leadership of PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and guidance of CM Vishnu Deo Sai, the campaign that is underway in Chhattisgarh to end naxalism is moving in the direction of success.”

Further, the BJP MP stated that in 13 months, more than 300 Naxals had been killed.

“In the last 13 months, more than 300 Naxalists have been killed. Naxalism is the biggest hindrance in the development of this state and country,” he further added.

Earlier on Thursday, Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao stated that the state government had been working towards eliminating Naxalites.

Further, he stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had resolved to eliminate Naxalism by 2047.

Sao further said, “This is a big success for the soldiers. Ever since our government was formed, we have been working towards eliminating the Naxalites. Under the leadership of PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah has resolved to completely eliminate Naxalism by 2047. Killing 30 Naxalites today is a big step towards fulfilling that resolve.”
