Raipur: Mumbai, India’s financial capital, is gearing up for an exciting spotlight on Chhattisgarh as Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participates in two significant national events focused on the textile and steel industries on April 23 and 24.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, CM Sai will utilize these platforms to introduce Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy, investment opportunities, and infrastructure plans to leading industrialists and policymakers from across the country. The events will take place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai.
On April 23, the Chief Minister will take part in the CMAI Fab Show, organized by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI). This prestigious event gathers key players from the textile manufacturing, export, and branding sectors. At the show, CM Sai will highlight the special provisions and investment opportunities available for the textile sector under Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy. It is anticipated that several significant companies may sign Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the state during this event.
April 24 promises to be a pivotal day as the Chief Minister attends the inaugural ceremony of India Steel 2025 as a special guest, which will feature a video address from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. CM Sai is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech focusing on Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy, the available infrastructure for the steel sector, and the state’s future plans in this domain.
Additionally, a Chhattisgarh Round Table Meeting will be conducted on the same day, offering the Chief Minister an opportunity for direct engagement with potential investors. Topics for discussion will include special industrial clusters for the steel industry, logistics support, single-window clearances, and labor policies.
Chief Minister Sai will also visit the Chhattisgarh State Pavilion at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, which will provide detailed information on the state’s industrial infrastructure, investment prospects, and policy support aimed at attracting industrialists and entrepreneurs to Chhattisgarh.
On both April 23 and 24, CM Sai is scheduled to address the media around 1 PM at the event venue, where he will discuss the objectives of his visit, key aspects of the new industrial policy, and the measures the state government is implementing to attract investments. He will also take questions from journalists.
