CM Saini to inspect preparations of Hisar Airpot today; PM Modi to visit on April 14th

Hisar: Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will inspect Haryana’s only Maharaja Agrasen Hisar Airport today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving in Hisar on 14 April. He will review the preparations for this. Apart from this, the CM will take information about flights and ongoing projects at the airport.

He will also inspect the PM’s proposed program and the rally venue and give directions to the officials. After this, he will also meet the media.

Let us tell you that PM Modi will flag off flights to 5 states from Hisar airport. Apart from this, he will lay the foundation stone of the conch-shaped terminal being built. After this, he will address the public meeting at the airport ground itself.

Officials have already started making arrangements for the Prime Minister’s program. Discussions are going on about the arrangements from parking to seating on the stage. About 20 gates are being made for the entry of workers at the rally site so that there are no long queues and workers can reach there.

The work started in the year 2014

Work to make Hisar airport international began in 2014. At that time, the airport had 200 acres of land. 7 thousand acres of land was added to it in two phases. This will become the largest airport in the country, because no other airport has so much land.

The construction of the terminal will be completed by 2030

On the other hand, the team of Airport Authority of India (AAI) has reached the city regarding the terminal to be built at the airport at a cost of about Rs 500 crore. They have set up their offices here. According to the standards of an international airport, the construction of this terminal is to be completed by 2030. The area of ​​the terminal will be 37,970 square meters and its capacity will be 2.1 million passengers per year, which can be increased to 3.6 million passengers per year.
