National desk: Following raid on Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress has attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the Center for misusing government agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and IT against opposition leaders as elections approach
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, “As soon as elections come, ED, CBI, IT etc. become the real ‘Panna Pramukh’ of BJP. Seeing its certain defeat in Rajasthan, BJP made its last move.”
He also said, ‘After Chhattisgarh, ED has also started action against Congress leaders entering the assembly election campaign in Rajasthan. The dictatorship of Modi government is fatal for democracy. We will continue to fight against the misuse of agencies, the public will give a befitting reply to the BJP.”
Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot said, ‘Congress launches guarantees for the women of Rajasthan and next day ED raids at Rajasthan Congress President Govind Singh Ji Dotasara, summons my son Vaibhav Gehlot to appear in ED. Now you can understand what I have been saying that ED is doing all this in Rajasthan because BJP does not want women, farmers, poor people in Rajasthan. To get the benefit of the guarantees given by Congress.”
Today, summon was issued for Ashok Gehlot’s son Vaibhav Gehlot in case related to Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). CM Gehlot called it hooliganism and said befitting reply will be given to BJP by people of Rajasthan.
