New Delhi : Congress has decided not to participate in TV debates on exit polls. Party spokesperson Pawan Khera said that Congress does not want to be a part of TRP game. Khera further said that the voting results have been locked in the machines. The results will be in front of everyone on June 4. After this, Congress party will participate in TV debates.
Taking a dig at this decision of Congress, Home Minister Amit Shah said that Congress will face a big defeat in the exit polls, so they cannot face the media. At the same time, BJP President JP Nadda said that the opposition has accepted defeat even before the results.
Shah said- Congress is going to face a huge defeat
Amit Shah said that Congress party has been in denial mode for a long time. Congress campaigned vigorously throughout the election to get a majority, but now they also know the situation that after tomorrow’s voting, they are going to lose badly in the exit polls. With what face will Congress face the media? Therefore, Congress is denying this entire exercise by saying that exit polls have no meaning. Every time Congress participates in exit polls, but this time it is boycotting it as it is unable to explain the defeat.
Shah further said that I want to tell the Congress leaders that no one benefits from ostrich mentality. Face the defeat boldly, introspect and move forward.
Nadda said – Congress has accepted defeat
BJP President JP Nadda said that Congress’ decision not to participate in the exit poll shows that Congress has accepted defeat. There is nothing new in this. Usually Congress drops out of the exit polls when it feels that the results will not be in its favor. Congress’ hypocrisy is not hidden from anyone. So no one should waste their vote for them in the seventh phase.
