New Delhi: Rouse Avenue Court granted bail to CM Arvind Kejriwal in the money laundering case of Delhi liquor policy scam on Thursday, June 20 at 8 pm. He can come out of jail on Friday, i.e today.
On the other hand, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has sought 48 hours to appeal against the bail. The court said that these arguments can be made in front of the duty judge tomorrow.
Earlier, ED had told the court that a stay of 48 hours should be imposed on the bail, but the vacation bench refused.
The court asked the Delhi CM to fill a bail bond of Rs 1 lakh. The court has said that the detailed decision will be uploaded on Friday. Then it will be known on what basis the Delhi CM was granted bail.
The bail plea was heard in the Rouse Avenue Court for the second consecutive day today in the morning. The vacation bench of Judge Nyayabindu had reserved the decision after hearing the arguments of ED and Kejriwal.

After being out on bail for 21 days, Kejriwal surrendered in Tihar at 5 pm on June 2. Kejriwal’s judicial custody ended on Wednesday, which the court had extended till July 3 and now in the recent development, Rouse Avenue Court has granted bail to the Delhi CM.
