New Delhi: Delhi Government has announced today as Dry Day which refers to closure of Liquor shops in the state. The decision has been taken in order to commemorate the martyrdom day of Sikh Guru, Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. Sale of liquor will also be prohibited in Delhi on November 27, Monday, which is Guru Nanak Jayanti.
Government also made it clear that there will be no dry day on December 25th on account of Christmas.
Earlier too, during Chhath Puja, Government had announced closure of liquor shops in the national capital.
