New Delhi: Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra inspected the ongoing road-strengthening project at Khajuri Chowk. In an interview, he noted that Chief Minister had instructed on February 22 to ensure that the public does not face traffic issues in the area. Mishra emphasized that the government is focused on improving the condition of Delhi’s roads and stated, “I am here to oversee the work in progress. Our efforts are aimed at the development of Delhi.”

Mishra also criticized the previous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration, claiming that road conditions in the capital worsened during their tenure. He pointed out that broken roads, potholes, and waterlogging have become prevalent issues throughout the city, and mentioned that all Cabinet ministers were actively addressing these problems. He remarked, “Under Arvind Kejriwal’s government, the state of roads in Delhi has deteriorated. The roads are either damaged or dusty, filled with potholes and waterlogging; all Cabinet ministers are on the ground today. It’s essential for officials to repair the roads.”

Additionally, he targeted AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, asserting, “The culture of inaction under Kejriwal will come to an end. Officials across all departments need to realize that work is now being carried out under PM Modi’s directives, as per the direct orders of CM Rekha Gupta.” Minister Kapil Mishra oversees various departments, including law and justice, labour, employment, art and culture, language, and tourism within the Delhi government.
