Delhi Police holds passing-out parade of 1308 recruit constables

New Delhi: A ceremonial passing-out parade took place at the Delhi Police Academy in Wazirabad, New Delhi, on May 19, marking the graduation of 1,308 new constables from Batch No. 124, who pledged to serve and safeguard the nation. During the event, the recruits demonstrated their drill skills and discipline as they marched with coordination.

During the event, the recruits demonstrated their drill skills and discipline as they marched with coordination and determination. The parade was led by their commanders, reflecting their readiness and commitment to duty. Chief Guest Robin Hibu, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police/Public Transport Division, Delhi Police, addressed the ceremony, emphasizing the importance of dedication and service.

As part of the ceremony, the trainees took a solemn oath to uphold the Indian Constitution, serve with honesty and loyalty, and defend the country’s sovereignty. They pledged, “I pledge to uphold the law of India and abide by the Constitution. I will have faith and sincere loyalty to the sovereignty of India as a member of the Delhi Police Service.”

Senior police officials and dignitaries attended the event, commending the trainees for their hard work and dedication. The parade signified the successful completion of their rigorous training, and the constables are now prepared to serve as official members of the Delhi Police force.
