Expert said – Taliban needs India more

  • Qatar’s media organization Al Jazeera said that the relations between India and Afghanistan are gradually getting closer. Expert Raghav Sharma said that India knows that it is no longer possible to ignore the Taliban government.
  • India has always described Afghanistan as a ‘strategically important’ country. When the Taliban came to power, India almost ignored it and paid attention only when needed.
  • The Taliban’s relations with Pakistan are not good now. In such a situation, they want to show the world that they are not dependent only on Pakistan. By increasing contacts with countries like India, the Taliban now wants to show that they have other options and they are not just puppets of Pakistan.
