Gold and Silver prices dip on July 17; 24-Carat Gold down by Rs130, Silver falls Rs 263

There is a fall in the price of gold and silver today, i.e. on 17th July. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA)

Mumbai, July. 17: There is a fall in the price of gold and silver today, i.e. on 17th July. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold has fallen by Rs 130 to Rs 97,370 per 10 grams. Earlier, its price was Rs 97,500.

The price of silver has come down by Rs 263 to Rs 1,10,937 per kg. Earlier, silver was at Rs 1,11,200. On July 14, silver had made an all-time high of Rs 1,13,867. On June 8, gold had made an all-time high of Rs 99,454.

Delhi: Price of 24 carat gold is Rs 99,480 and price of 22 carat gold is Rs 91,150

Gold has become costlier by ₹ 21,208 so far this year

This year, i.e. from January 1 till now, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs 21,208 from Rs 76,162 to Rs 97,370. At the same time, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 24,920 from Rs 86,017 per kg to Rs 1,10,937. Last year, i.e. in 2024, gold became costlier by Rs 12,810.
