Gold and silver prices rise, 24 carat gold reaches Rs. 97,195 per 10 grams

New Delhi, July 8: On Tuesday, the second day of the week, a huge increase has been registered in the prices of gold and silver. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), 24 carat gold has become costlier by Rs. 599 and has reached Rs. 97,195 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of silver has increased by Rs. 1,159, and it is now available at Rs. 1,07,690 per kg.

How much has the price increased compared to the previous day?

On Monday, 24 carat gold was Rs. 96,596 per 10 grams.

Silver was at Rs. 1,06,531 per kg on Monday.

On June 18, gold and silver touched an all-time high:

Gold: Rs. 99,454 per 10 grams

Silver: Rs.1,09,550 per kg

Ajay Kedia, director of Kedia Advisory, says that geopolitical tensions still persist in the international market. Gold is getting support from the war situation between Iran and Israel, due to which the demand is continuously increasing.

In such a situation, it is expected that by the end of this year:

Gold ₹ 1,03,000 per 10 grams

Silver can reach ₹ 1,30,000 per kg.
