The GRP acted quickly and identified the suspects within three days.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ratna Raju stated that the police promptly organized three teams to locate the perpetrators, resulting in the arrest of the trio, including the mastermind, Sai Krishna, on January 28.

The investigation revealed that the gang had used a clever strategy to commit the robbery, and the police successfully recovered the entire stolen amount of Rs 64 lakhs from them.

In a separate incident, a theft occurred in Ananthapuramu district on January 23, where a group of four men robbed three homes near the national highway in Rajahamsa Villas. According to police reports, they stole gold, silver, and cash worth several lakhs, with one victim reporting a loss of Rs 3 crore. The police are investigating the case using CCTV footage to catch the culprits.

Circle Inspector Sainath noted that the thieves specifically targeted a house belonging to a government employee, taking 3 tulas of gold, 1 kg of silver, and Rs 65,000 in cash, along with various other small gold ornaments. Another victim, Siva Reddy, asserted that thieves stole an astonishing Rs 3 crore worth of cash and valuables from his home.
