Haryana govt transfers six IAS officers

Chandigarh: The Haryana government has issued immediate transfer orders for six IAS officers, as per an official notification. Amneet P Kumar has been assigned additional responsibilities as Commissioner and Secretary for the Civil Aviation Department, already holding the same position in the Departments of Future, Fisheries, and Archives. She will now oversee Civil Aviation, taking over.

Amneet P Kumar has been assigned additional responsibilities as Commissioner and Secretary for the Civil Aviation Department, already holding the same position in the Departments of Future, Fisheries, and Archives. She will now oversee Civil Aviation, taking over from IAS Shyamal Misra, who has been relieved of the charge.

Ashok Kumar Garg has been appointed as the Commissioner of Hisar Division, replacing A Sreenivas, who has been relieved. Garg was previously serving as the District Municipal Commissioner of Gurugram.

Dhirendra Khadgata, formerly Deputy Commissioner of Rohtak, is now the Commissioner of the Faridabad Municipal Corporation, relieving A Mona Sreenivas of that role. He will continue to serve as a Special Secretary in the Environment, Forests & Wildlife Department.

Dharmender Singh has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Rohtak, replacing Khadgata, and has also been posted as a Special Secretary in the Cooperation Department.

Pradeep Dahiya takes over as District Municipal Commissioner of Gurugram, replacing Garg, while Swapnil Ravindra Patil has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Jhajjar, succeeding Dahiya.

These orderss were issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi on behalf of Haryana’s Governor.

In addition, the Haryana government announced a new initiative titled “Pandit Lakhmi Chand Kalakar Samajik Samman Yojana” aimed at supporting senior artists and art scholars. The scheme intends to improve their financial and social conditions, recognizing their contributions to the arts. Under this program, eligible artists will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs 10,000 as financial aid. The decision was taken during a meeting of the State Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
