Hathras: Uttar Pradesh Administration has released list of deceased in Hathras Tragedy

In a most tragic incident, nearly 116 people died after a stampede during a religious program (Satsang). The religious preacher in whose program this misfortune happened is still at large as the police is yet not able to trace him down. As of now a plea has also been filed in the Supreme Court over the Hathras stampede.

To find the ‘Bhole Baba’ the Uttar Pradesh police carried out a search operation at Ram Kutir Charitable Trust in Mainpuri district in search of him. Deputy Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar revealed that Baba ji was not found inside the campus. “We did not find Baba ji inside the campus…He is not here…” said Deputy SP Sunil Kumar.

The situation at the spot was such that there was not even a sheet to cover the dead bodies. The injured were writhing in pain on the ground. There were no doctors to treat them. Most of the dead are from Hathras, Badaun and districts of western UP. Meanwhile, seeing the pile of dead bodies in Etah, constable Rajnesh (30) on duty suffered a heart attack. His colleagues took him to the doctor, but he died. However, Etah SSP has said that the cause of the constable’s death was illness.

A committee has been formed under the chairmanship of DG Zone Agra. The information was shared by BJP MLA Asim Arun. He said that I have spoken with injured victims and eyewitnesses. After the event was over the chief spokesperson (Baba Ji) was leaving and people rushed to seek his blessings. Following this, a few people fell off and other people fell over them.

A plea has also been filed in the Supreme Court. Legal action has been sought for those responsible for this tragedy.

FIR has been launched but it is reported that in the FIR there is no mention of Bhole Baba in whose satsang this tragedy happened.

Police conducted a search operation at Ram Kutir Charitable Trust in Mainpuri district in search of ‘Bhole Baba’, who conducted a Satsang in Hathras where a stampede took place on Tuesday. Police couldn’t find him at his kutir.

Uttar Pradesh government has announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh each for the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to the injured.
