Heatwave alert for two days in Rajasthan: Temperature soar to 45 degrees

The heat has started increasing again in Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert in four districts.

Jaipur, June 8: The heat has started increasing again in Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert in four districts, including Bikaner-Sriganganagar, for the next two days (Sunday-Monday). Also, the temperature may increase by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius. By June 10, the temperature in some cities may be recorded at 46 degrees Celsius or even above.

At the same time, the maximum temperature in Jaisalmer and Bikaner crossed 45 degrees Celsius on Saturday. Except Baran, Dungarpur, Sirohi and Pratapgarh, the maximum temperature was recorded at 40 degrees Celsius or above in all the cities.

Jaisalmer recorded the highest temperature

If we look at the weather of the last 24 hours, the sky was clear in the state. It was hot with bright sunshine. There was intense heat in the districts of western Rajasthan, including Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Phalodi, Jaisalmer, Churu, and Barmer. On Saturday, the highest temperature was recorded at 45.3 degrees Celsius in Jaisalmer and 45.2 degrees Celsius in Bikaner. Hot, dusty winds blew at the surface level during the day in Bikaner and Sriganganagar. The maximum temperature was recorded at 44.6 in Barmer, 44.6 in Sriganganagar, 44.2 in Phalodi, 43.6 in Churu and 42.5 degrees Celsius in Jodhpur.

The maximum temperature in Jaipur rose to 41.8 degrees Celsius. Hot winds blew in Jaipur during the day. The maximum temperature was recorded at 42.4 degrees Celsius in Bhilwara, 42.2 in Pilani, 43.3 in Chittorgarh, 40.3 in Udaipur, 41 in Alwar, 41.6 in Nagaur, 42.2 in Dausa, 41.9 in Pali and 40.9 degrees Celsius in Ajmer.

Clouds covered the Kota division in the evening

Kota division experienced intense heat throughout the day. The maximum temperature in Kota was 44 degrees Celsius, and in Baran it was 39.8 degrees Celsius. In the evening, the weather changed in Baran and Jhalawar. The sky became cloudy and dusty winds blew in some places. A change in the weather was also observed in the rural areas of Kota.
