New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will embark on a two-day trip to Bihar on Saturday, filled with important political and administrative activities. His visit is anticipated to significantly impact the NDA’s election strategy, accompanied by notable announcements aimed at enhancing the cooperative sector.

According to BJP Bihar unit President Dilip Jaiswal, Shah is scheduled to arrive at Patna airport at 7:45 PM on Saturday. Following his arrival, he will hold discussions with party MLAs and senior officials. Later that evening, a key BJP core committee meeting will take place, focusing on preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections.

On Sunday morning, Shah will participate in a major event organized by the Cooperative Department in Patna. He will then head to Gopalganj district to address a large rally, where he is expected to present the BJP’s vision and strategy for the elections, energizing party workers and supporters.

After returning from Gopalganj, Shah will engage in an important NDA meeting at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s residence. Leaders from the BJP, JD(U), LJP (RV), and Hindustani Awam Morcha will attend the discussions, which are likely to center on seat-sharing arrangements and electoral strategies, aiming for alliance consolidation.

Significant announcements for the cooperative sector are also planned during this visit. At a program set for Sunday at Bapu Auditorium in Patna, Shah will introduce new initiatives for 5,350 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS), fisheries cooperative societies, handloom weaver societies, 1,000 milk-producing societies, and 300 block-level vegetable-producing societies. Additionally, a new Makhana processing center will be established to support local farmers and industries.

This visit, occurring just before the Bihar Assembly elections, carries considerable political weight. Shah’s initiatives in the cooperative sector are expected to enhance public support while ensuring unity within the NDA through his interactions with alliance leaders. As Bihar prepares for the elections, the impact of this visit on the political landscape will be closely monitored.
