New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm wishes to the people of Bihar on the occasion of ‘Bihar Diwas,’ celebrating the state’s rich history and heritage. In his message, PM Modi highlighted Bihar’s ongoing development, emphasizing the crucial role played by its hardworking and talented citizens.
On social media, PM Modi wrote, “Many best wishes to all my brothers and sisters of Bihar, the holy land of heroes and great personalities, on Bihar Diwas. Our state, which has made Indian history proud, is going through an important phase of development today, with the hardworking people of Bihar playing a key role. We will spare no effort in ensuring the all-round development of this state, which has always been a center of our culture and tradition.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed his greetings, recognizing Bihar’s historical contributions to the nation. He highlighted the state’s vital role in shaping both ancient and modern India. On social media, Amit Shah wrote, “Heartiest greetings of ‘Bihar Day’ to all the people of Bihar. Bihar, a land of knowledge, tradition, and cultural heritage, has always provided leadership and energy to the country. From its glorious past to the creation of modern India, Bihar has left a lasting impact across every field. Under PM Modi’s leadership, the NDA government is committed to propelling Bihar to new heights of progress and self-reliance. I wish happiness, peace, and prosperity to Bihar’s people.”
Bihar’s Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, also joined in the celebrations, sending his best wishes and focusing on the state’s bright future. In his message, CM Kumar reaffirmed Bihar’s glorious past while stressing the government’s efforts to build a prosperous future for the state. On social media, he wrote, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of Bihar Diwas. Bihar has a glorious history, and we are currently preparing for an even more glorious future. I urge all of you to join in realizing the dream of a developed Bihar. Together, we will take Bihar’s pride to new heights.”
