In cities across India, including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Kolkata, travelers have voiced their frustration as IndiGo, the domestic airline, deals with a temporary slowdown in its systems, impacting its website and booking services. Passengers are facing longer wait times and delays at check-in counters, resulting in widespread dissatisfaction.

On Saturday, IndiGo acknowledged the disruption in a travel advisory shared on X, stating, “We are currently experiencing a temporary system slowdown across our network, affecting our website and booking system. Consequently, customers may encounter longer wait times, including slower check-ins and extended queues at the airport.” The airline assured customers that they are actively working to resolve the issues and restore normal operations.

With over 2,000 flights daily, including international routes, the slowdown has had a considerable effect on numerous passengers in Maharashtra and beyond. Those trying to book flights or check in have experienced significant delays, leading to a flurry of complaints on social media.

The technical malfunction of IndiGo’s systems resulted in considerable chaos at Kempegowda Airport in Bengaluru.
