New Delhi: Flight travel is preferred by people because of the comfort it provides along with saving time. But what happens when the plane seat is broken for which hefty amount is paid. Then it will just feel that thousands of our rupees have gone down the drain. It will feel that we were in the plane, but did not even get a decent seat to sit on. If this had happened to a common man, it would have been understandable, but something similar happened with Union Minister and former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
He had to travel from Bhopal to Delhi by sitting on a broken seat. He narrated about this incident by sharing a post on X. However, Air India has apologized to him for this incident.

Shivraj Singh said that he was going from Bhopal to Delhi by taking an Air India flight for a program. As soon as he boarded the flight, he got a broken and sunken seat to sit on. He was having a lot of trouble sitting on it. He immediately called the staff and asked why the seat was allotted when it was broken.
On this, the staff told Shivraj that they had already informed the management about this broken seat. There are many other seats in the plane, which are broken and useless. He had told the management that tickets for these seats should not be sold. Shivraj listened to the staff’s answer, but the question was what to do with the seat. He did not even have the option of another seat.
However, other passengers also offered him their seats. They requested him a lot to sit on their seat. But he did not like to trouble someone else for his own sake. He decided to travel the entire journey sitting on the same broken seat.
