Srinagar: The division of the departments of the ministers of Omar Abdullah’s government of Jammu and Kashmir has been done. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has also issued an order in this regard. CM Omar Abdullah has handed over the Public Works Department (PWD), Mining, Labor and Employment, Skill Development Department to Deputy Chief Minister Surendra Choudhary. Sakina Masood Itoo has been given the responsibility of Health and Medical, School Education, Higher Education and Social Welfare Department.
After the removal of Article 370, Omar Abdullah took oath as the Chief Minister of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, October 16. Along with him, 5 MLAs including Deputy CM Surendra Chaudhary also took oath as ministers. Today the departments of all those ministers have been announced. Let us know which minister has been given which department.
It is also mentioned that any ministry not allocated to cabinet ministers will remain with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
