Dehradun, July 5: On Saturday, the first group left for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra from Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off the first group from the Tanakpur Tourist Rest House. On this occasion, the Chief Minister welcomed the travellers traditionally and presented souvenirs related to the cultural heritage of Uttarakhand.
Pilgrims across India participate
A total of 45 pilgrims from various states, including Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu are participating in this historic Mansarovar Yatra. Out of which 32 are men and 13 are women. During this, the Chief Minister said that the state government has made strong arrangements for the convenience of the pilgrims participating in the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
The Chief Minister interacted with all the devotees who came from 11 states and warmly welcomed them to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Dhami said that not everyone gets the privilege of visiting Kailash Mansarovar; it is not just a religious ritual, but a path of spiritual and spiritual awakening. He said that by participating in this unique journey, the devotees are not only taking the journey but also the feeling of dedication.
Spiritual significance of Yatra
The Chief Minister said that Lord Shiva resides in every particle of the sacred land of Uttarakhand. This journey is no longer just a geographical route, but due to the visionary leadership and determination of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it has become a powerful medium to meet Lord Shiva by transcending the boundaries. The journey, which earlier used to take seven days or more, has now become possible in just a few hours.
The Chief Minister said that the Uttarakhand government is fully dedicated to making this journey smooth, safe and convenient. Health, accommodation, food, security and other essential facilities have been strengthened at every stop so that the devotees do not face any kind of inconvenience. The Chief Minister prayed to Lord Bholenath for a successful, auspicious and safe journey of all the pilgrims.
