Himachal Pradesh: The Kullu administration has now started preparations for the famous Shrikhand Mahadev Yatra in the subdivision Nirmand of Kullu district. The Shrikhand Mahadev Yatra starts in July.
Last year, this yatra was postponed due to heavy rains. In such a situation, this year a team has been dispatched by the administration to inspect the roads and drains during the Shrikhand Mahadev Yatra. The team includes members of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Mountaineering Institute, Revenue Department, and Forest Department, who will inspect the entire route and its report will be submitted to the district administration.
After that, the date for the Shrikhand Mahadev Yatra will be decided by the administration. District Council Kullu President Pankaj Parmar said that last year also the devotees had to face a lot of difficulties during the yatra. The rescue team deployed by the administration was also not able to reach the spot with all their belongings.
In such a situation, this year the administration has already started preparations for the yatra and all the roads will also be inspected here.
Apart from this, this time it will also be taken care of whichever devotee stays in Parvati Bagh. There should be proper arrangements for them there. A time limit will also be fixed for this so that only as many devotees as Parvati Bagh can accommodate can reach there.
