Lok Sabha polls 2024: EC team reaches Patna to review preparations for polls

National desk: A four-member team of the Election Commission reached Patna on Thursday evening to review the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar. Officials including Secretary Sujit Kumar, Additional Secretary Naresh Kumar, Section Kumar and Devesh Kumar will hold a meeting of officials on Friday and will review the preparedness of 23 districts.

National desk: A four-member team of the Election Commission reached Patna on Thursday evening to review the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar.

Officials including Secretary Sujit Kumar, Additional Secretary Naresh Kumar, Section Kumar and Devesh Kumar will hold a meeting of officials on Friday and will review the preparedness of 23 districts including Patna, Nalanda, Rohtas, Buxar, Kamaur, Gaya, Aurangabad, Nawada, West Champaran, East Champaran, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Samastipur, Saran, Siwan and Gopalganj.

The review meeting will be held to analyze the voter list, voter ID card and other aspects related to the Lok Sabha elections.

The meeting will be held on Friday at 10 am in a hotel in Patna, where state CEO H.R. Srinivas and other officials will be present. Election Commission officials are expected to hand over a PowerPoint presentation to the District Magistrates of 23 districts about the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections.
