Raipur: The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel on Friday demanded to make the CCTV footage of parliament scuffle public after Bharatiya Janata Party filed a complaint against Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi alleging him for pushing the BJP MP’s in the scuffle. 

The  Chief Minister in a while speaking with the media  questioned the absence of CCTV evidence despite the high-security coverage of the Parliament complex.

Boghal also said that  the house is under  CCTV survillence 24 hours but the absence of footage clearly indicates that they aim to distract the public from the real issue. “They will go to any length to achieve this.”

He also targeted Union Home Minister Amit Shah, accusing him of making ‘inflammatory’ remarks.

Boghal also said that the Bharatiya Janata party neither respects the Constitution nor its architect, Dr BR Ambedkar. That is why such derogatory remarks were made against Ambedkar.

“We demand the Home Minister’s apology for his remarks about Ambedker.” 

Notably the altercation occurred when both the parties were holding protests accusing each other of disrespecting the Dalit icon B.R. Ambedkar, in which two BJP MP’s sustained minor injuries and were shifted to hospital later. 

The congress MP Rahul Gandhi in his defence said the BJP MP’s stops his way while entering into the parliament after which the incident occurs.
