Manish Sisodia case: SC denies bail, orders trials to be completed in 6-8 months

New Delhi: No relief to AAP leader and former deputy CM of the National Capital as Manish Sisodia has been denied bail from the Supreme court today. SC reserved its verdict on the bail plea of Sisodia and long way back and today announced its verdict. Sisodia has been arrested by ED in Delhi excise.

New Delhi: No relief to AAP leader and former deputy CM of the National Capital as Manish Sisodia has been denied bail from the Supreme court today. SC reserved its verdict on the bail plea of Sisodia and long way back and today announced its verdict. Sisodia has been arrested by ED in Delhi excise policy case and is in jail from more than 8 months.

While refusing the bail, SC directed to complete the trial within 6-8 months. Court also said if the trial goes at slow pace, Sisodia can apply for bail again at a later stage. Verdict was announced by bench of two judges consisting Justices Sanjiv Khanna and SVN Bhatti.

In the analysis there are certain aspects which are doubtful.. regarding transfer of 338 crore transfer is established. We have rejected the bail, the Court said in the order while dismissing the bail plea.
