Manish Sisodia Case: SC to hear bail plea on December 11

New Delhi: Manish Sisodia has filed a review petition on the Supreme Court’s October 30 decision in which Manish Sisodia’s bail plea was canceled. Earlier on October 30, Supreme Court rejected the bail plea of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Supreme Court will hear the bail plea on December 11 and will decide.

New Delhi: Manish Sisodia has filed a review petition on the Supreme Court’s October 30 decision in which Manish Sisodia’s bail plea was canceled. Earlier on October 30, Supreme Court rejected the bail plea of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Supreme Court will hear the bail plea on December 11 and will decide whether bail should be granted or not.

In its October 30 verdict, the SC denied bail to the AAP leader. While efusing the bail, SC directed to complete the trial within 6-8 months. Court also said if the trial goes at slow pace, Sisodia can apply for bail again at a later stage. Verdict was announced by bench of two judges consisting Justices Sanjiv Khanna and SVN Bhatti.

In the analysis there are certain aspects which are doubtful.. regarding transfer of 338 crore transfer is established. We have rejected the bail, the Court said in the order while dismissing the bail plea.

Also 2 weeks ago, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court extended the judicial custody of former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who was arrested in connection with the alleged irregularities in the now-scrapped excise policy, till December 11.
