Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav strongly expressed support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the Indian Army’s decisive response to terrorist activities. Speaking to ANI, Yadav lauded Modi’s commitment, stating, “PM Narendra Modi fulfills his promises. The country is proud of our Army’s strong retaliation at nine terrorist locations in Pakistan.”
BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda also conveyed a firm stance on India’s anti-terror efforts through a tweet referencing “Operation Sindoor.” He emphasized that India’s message to terrorists is clear: provoking us will meet stiff resistance. Nadda quoted Modi’s words, “Those attacking India’s soul will face severe punishment,” reaffirming the nation’s resolve to combat terrorism and protect sovereignty.
Earlier, Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, along with Col. Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, briefed the media on Operation Sindoor. Misri explained that the Pahalgam attack aimed to undermine the return of normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir. He detailed the brutality of the attack, where victims were killed with headshots at close range in front of their families, intended to traumatize and discourage peace efforts.
Wing Commander Vyomika Singh revealed that Operation Sindoor was launched to seek justice for the victims of the Pahalgam attack. She stated that nine terrorist camps were targeted and successfully destroyed, carefully chosen to minimize civilian harm and infrastructure damage.
During the briefing, Col. Sophia Qureshi showed footage of the destruction of terror camps, including locations in Muridke, Sialkot, Barnala, Kotli, and Joya. These camps, including those from which perpetrators of the 2008 Mumbai attacks like David Headley and Ajmal Kasab received training, were hit in the strikes conducted by the Indian Army.
