Jharkhand: In the NEET exam controversy, Jharkhand Police has detained 6 people from Deoghar on Saturday. They will be taken to Patna in Bihar. So far 19 people have been arrested in this case. On the other hand, the police of both the states said that evidence of NEET paper being leaked from Jharkhand has been found.
Bihar Police says that NEET exam was held on 5 May. During this time, information was received that the paper had already reached some students and centers and they were being made to memorize it.
When the police reached there, a burnt paper was found and booklet number 6136488 was recovered. If sources are to be believed, this booklet is from a center in Hazaribagh. From this, it is believed that the paper was leaked from Jharkhand itself.
Here, the head of the investigating agency is currently in Delhi. If sources are to be believed, they have apprised the officials of NTA and Ministry of Education about their investigation report and the action taken so far. However, nothing has been said officially by the investigating agency so far.
Jharkhand Police said – Action after input
Deoghar Police said, the 6 people who have been detained include Paramjit Singh alias Bittu, Chintu alias Baldev Kumar, Kaju alias Prashant Kumar, Ajit Kumar, Rajiv Kumar alias Karu and Pinku Kumar, residents of Nalanda district of Bihar.
SDPO Ritwik Srivastava of Deoghar Sadar said that this action has been taken after an input. These accused were staying at Juhu Singh’s house.
The professor had sent the paper on WhatsApp
In the investigation so far, it has become clear that Sanjeev Mukhiya, an employee of Nursarai Udyan College, is the kingpin of the paper leak gang. This gang was plotting it for several months.
A professor had sent the paper to Sanjeev on WhatsApp. After this, the paper was solved with the help of medical students of Patna and Ranchi. After solving it, it was sent to Chintu alias Baldev of Karayparsurai’s mobile along with the answers on the morning of May 5.
The investigating agency has also received information about the professor. However, the agency officials are currently refraining from saying anything on this.
