New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday talked about ending the India Alliance. He said that no meeting has been held regarding this after the Lok Sabha elections. This alliance was only till the Lok Sabha elections, so it should be ended. It has neither any agenda nor any leadership.
Regarding the Delhi elections, Omar Abdullah said that he cannot say anything about what is going on in Delhi, because he and his party have nothing to do with the Delhi elections. The parties present there should decide how best to fight the BJP.
He further added that congress has fallen alone in the Delhi Assembly elections. AAP has the support of Samajwadi Party, Trinamool Congress and Shiv Sena UBT. Kejriwal has thanked both the leaders for their support.
Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut said that the BJP launched projects before the elections and then did nothing for 5 years. The people of Delhi are with Arvind Kejriwal.
Voting will be held on 5 February for 70 assembly seats in Delhi. The results will be declared on 8 February.
Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot said on Wednesday that AAP is our opponent in Delhi. Kejriwal is spreading confusion among the public that his party will win the elections again. Kejriwal immediately responded to this statement. He said that the secret alliance of BJP and Congress has been exposed in the assembly elections.
