NTA issues admit cards for NEET UG re-exam of 1563 students, Check for direct link

In the notice issued, NTA has informed that the scorecards of 1563 candidates have been canceled.

New Delhi: Amid allegations of paper leak and irregularities in NEET UG 2024, National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has released the admit card for NEET UG re-exam. There will be a re-exam for 1563 candidates who got grace marks in the NEET result. The exam will be conducted on 23 June. The result of this exam will be released before 30 June. After the release of the revised result of NEET UG, the counseling process will start from 6 July.

During the hearing of matter in the Supreme Court, NTA and a committee of the central government recommended the re-examination for students who got grace marks. There are total of 1563 students who will undergo examination.

The candidates who will appear in this exam will be sent the admit card information through email by NTA. In the notice issued, NTA has informed that the scorecards of 1563 candidates have been canceled. All these candidates will be sent their original scores on email. Only those candidates have to appear in the re-exam who will receive an email from NTA.

Many candidates had filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the grace marks given to 1563 candidates in the NEET exam. NTA had formed a committee to investigate this matter.

This committee held a meeting on 10, 11 and 12 June. The committee has suggested that the scorecards of 1563 candidates who got grace marks should be canceled and a re-examination should be conducted for them. At the same time, these students should also be told their original scores without grace marks.

During the hearing of the petition filed against grace marks in the Supreme Court on June 13, NTA informed about conducting the exam again. Candidates who do not want to give re-examination, their grace marks will be removed and the original marks will be given to them as the final score.
