After the Landslide victory of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in the Hindi heartland yesterday, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Supremo Mayawati has raised serious questions on the mandate of states that underwent polling last month. Mayawati took to X and expressed doubt over the success of BJP in the three states.

She said, “It is natural for all the people to be doubtful, surprised, and worried when the results of the recently held general elections in four states of the country were one-sided in favor of one party, because considering the entire atmosphere of the elections, such a strange result is very difficult to digest.”

Terming the results as one-sided, she said “The atmosphere during the entire election was completely different and interesting like a close fight, but the election result being completely different from it and being completely one-sided, is such a mysterious matter that requires serious thinking and its solution. A terrible ‘mistake’ in sensing people’s pulse is the  new topic of discussion.”

Former CM tried to motivate party workers by saying that all the people of BSP fought election with full strength. She added that party workers should not be disappointed with such strange results and move forward by taking inspiration from the life struggles of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.

For the general elections of 2024, BSP Supremo Mayawati said “In the context of this election result, an all India meeting of the party will be called in Lucknow on 10th December to discuss the ground report and fresh preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. The Ambedkarite movement will never lose courage to move forward without being disturbed by the election results.”
