Mumbai: Parineeti Chopra and her husband, politician Raghav Chadha, visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple to offer prayers in anticipation of Maha Shivratri. Raghav shared two photos on his Instagram, one featuring the couple in front of the temple and another with their family. He captioned the post, expressing greetings for Maha Shivratri with a heartfelt “Jai Shri Baba Vishwanath… Har Har Mahadev.”
The Kashi Vishwanath Temple, located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, is a significant Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines, with the main deity known as Vishwanath or Vishweshwara, meaning Lord of the Universe.
On the professional front, Parineeti has begun shooting for her debut OTT series on Netflix. She announced the project on social media, describing it as a mystery thriller that draws viewers in with its suspenseful storyline. Expressing excitement, she mentioned, “Some mysteries don’t just unfold – they pull you in, keep you guessing, and refuse to let go.”
The show, which is still untitled, will be filmed against the beautiful hills of Shimla and promises a gripping blend of mystery and tension. It is produced by Siddharth P. Malhotra and Sapna Malhotra, with Rensil D’Silva as the director. This will mark her fourth collaboration with Netflix, following her work on “The Girl on the Train,” “Amar Singh Chamkila,” and an upcoming romantic comedy directed by Dhruv Tripathi. Parineeti also shared images of her fellow cast members, including Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anup Soni, Jennifer Winget, Chaitannya Choudhry, Harleen Sethi, and Soni Razdan.
