New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi held a press conference on Thursday on the NEET exam controversy. He said, ‘Thousands of youth had complained about paper leak during Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Now the matter of scam in NEET paper has come to light. NET-UGC has been cancelled. There were reports that PM Modi had stopped the fight between Russia-Ukraine by making a phone call. The fight between Gaza and Israel was also stopped by making a phone call.

Due to some reasons, Narendra Modi is not able to stop paper leak in India, or does not want to stop it.’

Rahul said that the reason behind the paper leak is that the education system has been captured by the parent organization of BJP. Until this is reversed, paper leak will continue. Modi ji has allowed this to happen, which is an anti-national activity.

Protests are being held across the country demanding cancellation of NEET UG exam. Students in Lucknow University have demanded the resignation of the Education Minister. Meanwhile, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan held a meeting with NTA officials. Higher Education Secretary Sanjay Murthy met NTA Director General Dr. Subodh Kumar Singh.

At the same time, the Supreme Court has again refused to stay the NEET UG counseling in the hearing held on Thursday. The court has said that after the last hearing, if the exam is cancelled then the counseling will also be cancelled.

Earlier on June 11, the Supreme Court had also rejected this appeal. Today, a new petition demanding cancellation of the exam was also heard in the Supreme Court. This petition was filed by 49 students and the Student Federation of India (SFI). The next hearing on this will be held on July 8.

The petitioners have demanded a background check and forensic investigation of the students who scored more than 620 in the exam. At the same time, a CBI inquiry has also been demanded into the allegation of paper leak.

Along with this, the Supreme Court has clubbed the petitions filed in the NEET UG case in Rajasthan, Calcutta and Bombay High Courts. Now these will be heard in the Supreme Court on July 8.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) had made this demand. The vacation bench of Justice Vikram Nath and Justice SVN Bhatti is hearing this case in the Supreme Court.
