PM Modi on two-day Gujarat visit, will visit Kevadia tomorrow

National desk: Prime Minister Narendra is on a two-day visit to Gujarat from today for which he reached Ahmedabad on Monday. On his arrival, he was given a warm welcome by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel at the airport. On this occasion, Ahmedabad Metropolitan Mayor Mrs. Pratibha Jain, State Chief Secretary.

On this occasion, Ahmedabad Metropolitan Mayor Mrs. Pratibha Jain, State Chief Secretary Raj Kumar, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister K. Kailashnathan, Additional Chief Secretary of General Administration Department (GAD) Kamal Dayani, Director General of State Police Vikas Sahay, Ahmedabad City Police Commissioner G. S. Malik, GAD-Protocol Additional Secretary Jwalant Trivedi, Ahmedabad District Development Officer and District Collector in-charge Mehul Dave and senior officers and officials also greeted the Prime Minister.

On the first day of his two-day visit, he inaugurated and dedicated developmental projects worth around Rs. 5800 crores in multiple sectors like rail, road, drinking water and irrigation here at  Kheralu, Mehsana. Tomorrow PM will be in Kevadia to take part in celebrations of Rashtriya Ekta diwas. He will also visit Statue of unity and pay floral tributes.
